Take me back to those times...

Today, I woke up with the desire to listen to Final Fantasy songs... It's like I was being called by my Final Fantasy craze which started way back 2001 :)

My playlist upon waking up at 1AM:

Faye Wong - Eyes on Me
Emiko Shiratori - Melodies of Life
Rikki - Suteki da ne
Koda Kumi / Jade - Thousand Words
Utada Hikaru - Simple and Clean

It makes me look back to those days when I research about the artist. Because of that I got into Hikaru and my JPOP fandom started :D

Below is a video of Faye Wong's Eyes on Me... is Faye crying?
Check it out :)

Kana Nishino - Alright [Live Kanayan Tour 2011] ~English Subtitles by Raul-kun~

Alright is the 11th track on Kana Nishino's Thank You, Love album.

The song is full of positive thoughts and is perfect for those people whose feeling down. Indeed, everything's gonna be alright. Remember: you have your friends, you're not alone. The hardships and sadness are essential for our growth.

Also, I like Kana's costume here. It looks like she's gonna fly XD
Check it out :)

Kana Nishino - Esperanza [Live Kanayan Tour 2011] ~English Subtitles by Raul-kun~

Esperanza is Kana Nishino's 15th single and is the 2nd track on Thank You, Love album. Esperanza is the Spanish word for "Hope". I find the song reminiscing BoA's Valenti (the theme and the torches/fire) as well as Utada Hikaru's Can You Keep A Secret (the guitar solo)

Talking about the song meaning, I think this song is a follow up to "Distance" lyrics-wise. The song tells a story of woman whose in love with a man in a relationship. The woman badly wants the man and hopes that she is the girl for that man.

Reality check, again, I've been there (male version) I had this girl that I like but she likes someone else. Oh well, that was a past XD Enough of my drama...

Enjoy the video!

Kana Nishino - Distance [Live Kanayan Tour 2011] ~English Subtitles by Raul-kun~

Distance is Kana Nishino's 14th single. The song is the 5th track on her Thank You, Love album.

I like this song LOL. It's a song that many people can relate to. Having someone you like, unfortunately, the painful truth, that special someone can't return the feelings... We even try to reach them, changing a bit for them, exerting more efforts... and still fail... That's the reality. Oh yeah I've been there ;)

Check it out!

Flower is the 7th track on Kana Nishino's Thank You, Love album. The song is a nice ballad with a really touching lyrics. Wanting to be with that special someone, cherishing little things, and promising an eternal love...

PS: Kana looks like Tinker Bell here and she's standing on a big flower ;) Check it out!

Utada Hikaru - Can't Wait Till Christmas (Wild Life 2010) ~English Subtitles by Raul-kun~

Christmas is fast approaching... and like the song title, I myself can't wait till Christmas :D

The song is very unique in its own way. It's not the typical Christmas song wishing for a Merry Christmas... The song is about cherishing your lover (emote) This is the first Christmas song Hikaru has written.

Lastly, the song was used for Pepsi Nex campaign last year... Fast forward... I wonder what Hikaru is up to?

I'm already loving you...~

Utada - Devil Inside / Kremlin Dusk / You Make Me Want to Be A Man (Utada United) ~English Subtitles by Raul-kun~

The English songs performed during Utada Hikaru's Utada United Tour 5 years ago. At first, I did not like Kremlin Dusk / You Make Me Want To Be A Man because I find it noisy LOL but now, I'm addicted to the songs, specifically, the live version ;)

Kon-san, the guitarist, sure had an awesome experience rocking Saitama Arena! Lovin' the guitar baby!
