Dear... is Kana Nishino's 9th single. I wish this was on her Kanayan Tour setlist =(

I was at the mall, all alone, sipping my favorite Fruitas mango shake and eating a slice of Hawaiian pizza. I was listening to Kana Nishino's song on shuffle while texting random peeps on my phonebook.

Then Dear... started to play. Since I'm all alone, I was focused on feeling the song and my favorite lines of the song (translation):
If you were to say "I'm coming to see you now", how happy would I be? Whenever your name lights up from my cell, you always let me know that I am never alone~

Unexpectedly, the girl I like texted me with the message that says we can meet at the mall... My heart was about to explode with happiness! I don't know if it's coincidence or destiny (Utada Hikaru's B&C reference LOL)

Finally, after some few minutes, we were together =) YEAH! I waited for that very moment, to see her smiles, the glow in her eyes, her signature scent and to hear her stories... We went to the groceries together and bought stuffs.

It was an awesome day =) YEAH!

Anyways, enjoy the song/pv as much as I do. It's awesome when a song works it's own little magic =)

I fell in love with the song the moment I first heard it... but in this performance, with all honesty, Hikaru wasn't able to pull it off perfectly. This time it's only a cello accompanying Hikaru and there's an issue of her being allergic that's why she wasn't at her best. It was very bold of her to perform :)

I am not a fan of acoustic sets, and I always prefer a full band rockin' set.

The song is about childhood lovers, where the protagonist fell in love, sadly though, the other one can't seem to see that love.

In my own experience, I had this childhood friend and I had a crush on her. Our parents already know about that puppy love but she moved to other city and I was left alone... After some time, I was able to move on and now currently loving another girl haha :P

My fault was, I confirmed friend requests that came from the same school that I went to, or company that I worked with -_- Now, it's a tiring task to unfriend em.

Since Christmas is the time for wishing, I'll post my Wish List :)

1. Dumbbells - Since I don't have time to go to the gym, I want dumbbells so I can workout at home

2. Mountain Bike - Yeahh! I want to ride a bike during rest days ;)

3. Guitar - I don't know how to play any musical instrument so hopefully I could learn how to play a guitar. Inspiration: Kon Tsuyoshi (Utada Hikaru's guitarist) and Jun Yamazaki (BoA's guitarist)

4. White Board x Cork Board - I want this so bad LOL. So I can write stuffs to remind me as well as pin bills / papers :)

5. Underwear and Socks - I have like a dozen but I want more LOL

6. PS Vita - RAWRR! I wanna play Final Fantasy X ^_^

I've been a fan of this song since I first heard it... It got massive airplays from my highschool and the song is one of the favorite request during sweet dance LOL

The song is about being able to stay forever and protecting the love even if the world could be against that love... (drama?) XD

214 stands for "Am I Real?". At first I thought the song is February 14 (2-14) which is Valentines Day cause it's perfect for lovers ;)

Bamboo sang the song live at Good Times With Mo Season Finale last November. I always prefer a full band version (or with the orchestra) but this time, it's only keyboards and Bamboo's vocals which is still a great performance.... Heavy, heavy!

Ayala Triangle Dancing Lights 2011

Last Tuesday was a special day! I went to Ayala Triangle with a special someone? *blush*

As usual, Ayala Triangle was crowded because of the Dancing Lights. Diverse crowd ranging from lovers, family, friends, and office buddies filled the park. The design this year is different from last year but still the same concept: the lights synched with music. The Dancing Lights will be open till December 30, 2011 from 6PM onward (not sure if til 10 or 11PM)

It's been so long since I last felt this happiness, the kilig, and the smiles ;)

If you're planning on a date or a place to take your family to, I suggest checking out Ayala Triangle :D

Christmas is fast approaching! I actually can't feel the spirit of Christmas... Judging from the neighborhood Christmas designs, people are not excited for Christmas :( Before, I see a lot of Christmas lights and lanterns, now, only few houses (the ones that are rich) displays their Christmas lights.

Before heading home, I went to Goldilocks to buy a Brazo de Mercedes cake and I was so happy to see their packaging yey! I suddenly felt that Christmas feel. ;)

Let's go back to the good old days... Calling all Zidane-Garnet fans!

The first Final Fantasy that I played is FFIX. The second Final Fantasy song I knew was "Melodies of Life". A great ballad about wanting to be with someone, reminiscing the past and hoping that someday, be reunited....

The ending of Final Fantasy IX was a perfect with the song on the background... The moment when Zidane blew his disguise and the teary Dagger/Garnet was so happy she rushed to be with Zidane awww (I'M INSPIRED!)

Emiko Shiratori performed a Japanese and English mix version of the song during the Voices ~Music from Final Fantasy~ concert. I never heard a voice just like her, so soothing and calming.

Sen no Kotoba / Thousand Words is one of the best Final Fantasy songs. There came a time when all I listen is this song alone. I prefer Jade's version though but the original version of course has it's own weight in me ;)

There are actually 3 official versions if I'm correct:
Koda Kumi - Sen no Kotoba (the Japanese version)
Koda Kumi - Thousand Words (Yeps, Kuu sang it in English too)
Jade from Sweetbox - Thousand Words (the international version for FFX-2 NA/EUR release)

The PV, (one with Yuna / Lenne singing) added more emotion to the song... I just wished Koda Kumi showcases her band too (or does she have a band? @_@)... It would be awesome if they showed the guitarist during the guitar solo yeah?

Talking about the song meaning, I think this song is a follow up to "Distance" lyrics-wise. The song tells a story of woman whose in love with a man in a relationship. The woman badly wants the man and hopes that she is the girl for that man.

Reality check, again, I've been there (male version) I had this girl that I like but she likes someone else. Oh well, that was a past XD Enough of my drama...

Kana Nishino : Ranks #3 on Raul-kun's Favorite Artist!

I was watching Naruto Shippuden's Lost Tower movie and at the end of the movie, a song caught my attention... I rushed and made my research, the song was called IF by Kana Nishino. I downloaded the song and I was craving for live performances of the song... and of course, translation so I can do the subtitles. I instantly fell in love with the song!

Fast forward, I was also looking for Wise's songs and I was so glad to know he collaborated with Kana Nishino on the single By Your Side which I as well love! (I posted the video here on my blog too LOL)

I grabbed her Thank You Love album (where IF is also included) and the first song that caught me is "I'll Be There" followed by "Kimitte" Those 3 songs are my top Kana Nishino songs.

I am a new Kana Nishino fan and so far, my favorite album is Thank You Love. Thanks to my friend Lady Rinoa for giving me her Kanayan Tour video. I'll sub every song there :) (as long as there's translation XD) I'll also do a review on her Kanayan Tour and hopefully all her albums :D

Looking forward to hear more of her songs and of course, live tours!

When we arrived at the event, Utada Hikaru Philippines is second on the list. I signed it and got a free pass. My heart was beating fast!

During the event, there's a lot of boyband fans and they dominated the crowd lol They showed JPOP music videos and live performances on a projector big enough for everyone to enjoy. Utada Hikaru's Final Distance was shown (GOOSEBUMPS!). Then, there was a contestant in the JPOP singing contest that performed Flavor of Life (Ms, i should've known you! XD) Lastly, we requested Prisoner of Love music video ;) I still remember the crowd when the video was shown.... THEY WERE AWESOME!!!

:astly, the representative of the fan clubs were called on stage and were asked to say something about their artist... SHAME ON ME THOUGH... i just said "Utada Hikaru is currently not on the music scene right now but let's all wait for her" I was so nervous I was even stuttering -_- I then promoted the page.

It was such an awesome night and of course, we'll be attending the main JPOP Festival on January :)

Bonjour!!!! (Utada Hikaru mode) XD

What's up with Raul-kun? :D I'm currently working now in Bonifacio Global City ^__^

At first, I put the BGC into a "do not apply" list cause I thought it's farther than my previous office. I was wrong, it's nearer! I'm so happy that I sent my application and now I'm on probation!

My office is cool! MAC computers, English Only Policy, no dress code, nice pay, you name it! XD

Bonifacio Global City is an awesome place! When I first set foot on the city, I felt like I'm in America LOL (tall building, hot chicks... yeah that's what I see in movies *wink wink*).

Soaring buildings, clean surroundings, disciplined people, organized transportation/traffic are some of the city's best.

I work night shift and every morning on my way home, I see lotsa people doing exercises. I want to join em! XD

Here are some of BGC's famous spots:

Serendra, a gracious condo.
Market! Market!, yeah it's a market and mall XD
St. Lukes Medical Center, one of the country's most advanced hospital
The Fort, bars and party party... live the nightlife!

Upcoming spots:

The Mind Museum, world class science museum

So far, I'm loving my stay in BGC. Currently, the city is decorated with Christmas stuffs yey! I think they should have something like Ayala's dancing lights design :D

What's eating my time? It's Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Impact! I find it addicting and I finished the game in 1 day LOL... Current game play is at 17hours. The game is great IMO Unlike that damn Kizuna Drive. There's tons of characters to use and some extra missions to have fun XD One thing though, is the short story line, from Shippuden's intro up to the Naruto and Sasuke's clash at the bridge. LOL I wish they extended it until the war! XD

I love the "lock on" mode, makes it easier to land a hit. Next, the card system is cool too :) My favorite cards so far are Guy (awakening), Shukaku (stats) Sasuke (speed and chakra) One-tailed Naruto (stats). I find "Super Hard" mode so easy haha.

Almost all of the previous Naruto games, my #1 is Hatake Kakashi. I usually repeat the mission so I can level up Kakashi. But this time, it's different :( Kakashi is quite "weak" in this game. His awakening "Sharingan Mode" only makes enemy dizzy, and his moves deals less damage T__T.

My #1 for Naruto Shippuden Ultimate Ninja Impact is Itachi Uchiha. Tsukoyomi oh my! His awakening is Susano'o and it deals massive damage. Currently at Level 60 ;) Like I've said, even Super Hard mode is "easy" :P

I'm doing extra missions/bounty hunts and tryin' to collect 100% cards.
